Small Moments Matter

Life makes you learn that great lessons are hidden in small moments,
A few words in the heat of the moment hurt,
Some words of encouragement to your stressed friend,
These little things gain significance as days pass,

A few words from your mother after bad day at school,
Those hours together at school create lifelong friendships,
Those silly jokes and names created by friends,
Those game played with mates now distant memories,

A hug from your closest friend after a bad result
A kiss from your sister for the gift you gave her,
A pat on the back from Dad for your hard work,
These little shows of affection are what we miss when away,

Magical Rain

Black clouds close out the sun’s hot rays, The hot Earth waits for the cool water, It looks as if the sky sheds tears for the Earth, The time nears for Earth’s rebirth. We don't know our true friends, Out of all who claim to be true friends, Not sure whom to trust with our confidences, As everyone spreads rumours about our life. Growing up, we make loads of friends, Most of these friendships soon die of neglect, The few that remain need to be fed time, A resource in low supply and high demand, Make relations the priority not money… By the time we realize what our life is gonna be, We've already spent a small part, Don't let that realization go waste, We're all here for a while make it worth, Find happiness in simple things. A Story From My Life

My family has done a lot of work in the field of education under the guidance of my late grandfather. Some 30 years ago, he designed the plan of a school to be built in our native town. That building used to conduct classes for boys till 10th. Now it conducts classes only upto 8th. In January 2012, after my grandfather’s demise, the school authorities called on us. They wished to conduct classes till 12th in the same compound. In February 2012, the work started and the new building was inaugurated on 31st March 2013. In the inauguration ceremony, I made a speech invoking the memory of my grandfather. The school was named in memory of my grandfather. By the month of May all the classes were operational. In the construction of this building, my father gave a lot of time and energy, but, a sterner test was yet to come. MY AMBITION

Ever since, I reached grade five, my language kept improving, and, by the time I passed out from grade ten, it had become good enough to make my ambition of becoming a writer of stories. I had always had that ability to channel my ideas easily into words.    I was always trying to express myself through words. When I was about 2 and a half, I got this problem of repeating words thrice, slowly this problem receded, but, I remained a shy speaker in my class till I reached grade ten. In the farewell, I took the emotional approach of saying goodbye to my friends by making a speech, laced with a thank you to some bullies who had made my life miserable, but, also contributed to my becoming a rock of calmness amidst all I suffered in words. I kept myself cool and showed these bullies the door out of my mind. The bullies used to strike me down by telling me about my physical frailties.
