Sports And Life

Sports are life for some of us, 
And for some it’s a way of life, 
Watching our favourite players break records, 
Is a joy that can't be explained,

Life is like a game of soccer,
You run, fight, pass and slide,
When at last you score! It feels wonderful!

Life is also like a marathon, 
You keep running as if there's no tomorrow, 
You stretch your energy to a limit, 
Till at last, you see the finish line and give it your all! 
Finishing it gives you a high!

Sometimes, your arrows go astray, 
No one hits their goals in one go, 
Keep at it, don't give up, but, if you do, 
Then you won't achieve what you want,

When life serves you bad days, 
The reply should be a volley of hope, 
One never loses if you keep hoping, 
For better days and fighting it out, 

When you do that and win, life feels good!
Be in the now, fretting about the future, crying over the past, 
Will not take you ahead! 
It is now or never!

Black clouds close out the sun’s hot rays, The hot Earth waits for the cool water, It looks as if the sky sheds tears for the Earth, The time nears for Earth’s rebirth. A Story From My Life

My family has done a lot of work in the field of education under the guidance of my late grandfather. Some 30 years ago, he designed the plan of a school to be built in our native town. That building used to conduct classes for boys till 10th. Now it conducts classes only upto 8th. In January 2012, after my grandfather’s demise, the school authorities called on us. They wished to conduct classes till 12th in the same compound. In February 2012, the work started and the new building was inaugurated on 31st March 2013. In the inauguration ceremony, I made a speech invoking the memory of my grandfather. The school was named in memory of my grandfather. By the month of May all the classes were operational. In the construction of this building, my father gave a lot of time and energy, but, a sterner test was yet to come. MY AMBITION

Ever since, I reached grade five, my language kept improving, and, by the time I passed out from grade ten, it had become good enough to make my ambition of becoming a writer of stories. I had always had that ability to channel my ideas easily into words.    I was always trying to express myself through words. When I was about 2 and a half, I got this problem of repeating words thrice, slowly this problem receded, but, I remained a shy speaker in my class till I reached grade ten. In the farewell, I took the emotional approach of saying goodbye to my friends by making a speech, laced with a thank you to some bullies who had made my life miserable, but, also contributed to my becoming a rock of calmness amidst all I suffered in words.
